Is your class passionate about capturing moments, telling stories through images, and unlocking your creative potential? If so, our Beginners Photography Course is the perfect opportunity for you to embark on a journey into the captivating world of photography. This program begins not only for DSLR cameras but introduces concepts that can be used for any type of camera including phone and tablet cameras.
We cover everything from focus, rule of thirds, composition, perspective, light and shadow. This allows everyone with a camera improve their photography skills at a base level. We also talk to some of the more technical side of camera sensor, pixel's, zoom and wide angle meanings, this allows for understanding of how the camera works and what the terms mean as we move towards a deeper relationship with the camera. Finally we encourage photo-journaling for opportunities to apply gained knowledge.

This class delves deeper into the mechanics of photography and is more suited for individuals with DSLR or mirrorless cameras. We look at the exposure triangle - how ISO, f/stops, and shutter speed affect the outcome of the final image. what the different modes (such as AV, TV, P, and M) mean on the camera and what they are used for. We talk about the different lens that many of these cameras can use - telescopic, prime and variable as well as the impact of camera flash on images. We also look at some editing software such as adobe Lightroom. Because of the variety of modes we will be looking at more of this class is used for photography and discussing what the images produced look like and why. As will the beginning course we also encourage photo-journaling to apply this gained knowledge. While not needed it is recommended that Basic Introduction to Photography course be taken,

This workshop looks at the importance of having a proper lighting set up for model, school and headshot photography. Starting with a one light set-up to understand the impact of light, we will move to having reflectors, two and three light utilization for our photography. We will bring in the backdrop, lights, teach how to set up, and what each modifier does. This is a more technical course working in conjunction with what has been learned in the Intermediary Photography and taking that class is strongly recommended. This course is recommended for individuals who want to further their interest in photography from mere hobbyist to a potential career and further eduction opportunities.
